The Q-My-Trade setup guide · Last updated: 1 November 2026
Quick answer: Yes. MyFundedFutures (MFFU) “allows copy trading across all account types”, and external copiers can be used, so you can copy one signal across your own MFFU accounts in NinjaTrader 8. You can hold up to 10 evaluations and up to 5 sim funded accounts (fewer on some plans), and MFFU bans hedging of any kind, so keep every account trading the same direction.
Every MFFU rule below comes from MyFundedFutures’ help center, checked on 1 November 2026. MFFU can change its rules at any time, so check the linked pages before you set up.
Does MFFU allow copy trading?
Yes. MFFU’s copy trading page says: “MyFunded Futures allows copy trading across all account types.” It names Tradesyncer as its “preferred trade copier partner” and adds that “external copy trading solutions can also be used with your accounts”. Q-My-Trade is one of those external solutions; MyFundedFutures doesn’t endorse it.
The page also makes you “solely responsible” for keeping copied trades within the rules, so a copied trade counts exactly like one you placed by hand. And copy only between your own accounts: MFFU’s fair play page says traders “are not permitted to copy trade one another”.
Does MFFU allow automated trading?
Yes. The fair play page allows “automated trading strategies tailored to their own specific settings”, as long as they don’t aim to exploit simulated fills. High-frequency trading is not allowed.
Can you use NinjaTrader 8 with MyFundedFutures?
Yes. NinjaTrader is on MFFU’s supported platforms list. Its NinjaTrader login instructions have you add the “NinjaTrader” connection with the login from your MFFU dashboard, account type “Simulation”. MFFU doesn’t say which data feed sits behind it, so follow its steps rather than setting up Rithmic or CQG yourself.
Once your MFFU accounts appear in NinjaTrader’s Control Center, Q-My-Trade can copy to them. The exception is MFFU’s Studio plans, which run on Hyperprop only.
How many MyFundedFutures accounts can you have?
MFFU’s evaluation to sim funded page allows:
- Up to 10 active evaluation accounts.
- Up to 5 active sim funded accounts if all are $25K or $50K.
- 3 sim funded accounts in total if any is a $100K or $150K account.
- Lower plan caps on top: Rapid EOD 3 per size, Builder $25K 2, Builder $50K 1.
The pages say “per user” and don’t mention households, so ask MFFU if someone else at home trades with them too.
What are MFFU’s drawdown and consistency rules?
MFFU’s NinjaTrader plans at the $50K size, from each plan’s help page:
| Plan (50K) | Max loss | Drawdown | Consistency | Max contracts | Max sim funded |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rapid | $2,000 | EOD in eval, intraday trailing when funded | 50% eval, none funded | 5 minis / 50 micros | 5 |
| Rapid EOD | $2,000 | EOD trailing | 30% eval, none funded | 3 minis / 30 micros | 3 |
| Pro | $2,000 | EOD, static after first payout | 50% eval (One Day: none), none funded | 3 minis / 30 micros | 5 |
| Builder | $2,000 | EOD trailing | None eval, 50% funded | 4 minis / 40 micros | 1 |
Consistency figures match MFFU’s consistency rule page. Rapid’s funded intraday drawdown trails your peak including open profit. Only Builder has a daily loss limit ($1,000, a soft pause). And MFFU’s cross instrument policy says mixing minis and micros above your limit is not permitted, even if the order fills.
Does MFFU’s hedging rule affect trade copying?
MFFU’s hedging page says “MyFunded Futures prohibits hedging of any kind”: buy and sell positions “on the same underlying asset, at the same time.” It adds that “E-Mini and Micro NQ have the same underlying asset”, so long NQ against short MNQ counts.
The page doesn’t say whether opposite positions in two of your own accounts count. Treat them as hedging, and check with MFFU support before running more than one strategy on the same market.
- Same direction is not hedging. One signal copied long to every MFFU account is fine.
- Run one signal per market across your MFFU accounts.
- Keep Q-My-Trade’s Hedge Protection on. It’s on by default and refuses any copy that would put your accounts on opposite sides of the equity index group (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, YM, MYM, RTY, M2K). It’s a safeguard, not a guarantee: it doesn’t act on signal accounts or manual trades.
| ⚠ Q-My-Trade caps don’t close open trades. When an account reaches its MAX LOSS cap, Q-My-Trade stops copying new trades to it, but any open position keeps running until your strategy or you close it. |
Example: three Rapid EOD accounts in Q-My-Trade
A concrete setup for three Rapid EOD 50K sim funded accounts, the plan’s maximum. These are example settings, not a recommendation.
- Signal: run your NQ strategy on a Sim account (for example Sim101) at 1 contract. Every MFFU position then comes from a copy, and Hedge Protection checks each copy before it is placed.
- Group: MANAGE QUEUE → + ADD MASTER for that account, add a COPY ALL sub-group, tick your three MFFU accounts, then ✓ APPLY CHANGES.
- Copy to Micro: turn MICRO ON. At the default ratio of 10, 1 NQ is copied as 10 MNQ per account, inside the 30-micro limit. Don’t add minis on top.
- MAX LOSS: Rapid EOD has no daily loss limit, so this is your own daily stop. A 15-point stop on 10 MNQ risks about $300, so a $900 cap leaves room for one more open trade (about $1,200) inside the $2,000 limit, if the account has its full room.
- Daily Reset: on, so the cap clears each session.
- Hedge Protection: leave it on.
COPY ALL keeps the accounts in step, which fits Rapid EOD because funded payouts have no consistency rule. If you’d rather one losing trade didn’t hit every account at once, use ROTATE, which sends each signal to the next account in turn.
What about evaluations, news and the daily close?
- Evaluations plus funded: sub-groups under one master take turns, so to have both take every signal, run two masters, each with its own Sim signal account.
- News: MFFU’s news policy bars positions and orders on Rapid and Pro sim funded accounts from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after T1 news. Use SKIP ALL on those sub-groups, and flatten first, because skipping doesn’t close a position.
- Daily close: MFFU auto-closes positions at 4:10 PM EST, so have your strategy flat before then.
Q-My-Trade works with every account NinjaTrader 8 can see, so MFFU accounts can run beside other firms’ accounts, each in its own group. See our Apex setup guide and Lucid Trading guide.

Getting started
Q-My-Trade is a NinjaTrader 8 add-on that copies or rotates one signal across your prop firm accounts, with per-account caps, Hedge Protection and Copy to Micro. Check MyFundedFutures’ current rules on trade copiers, then see how Q-My-Trade works.
MyFundedFutures rules checked 1 November 2026 on its help center. MyFundedFutures doesn’t endorse Q-My-Trade. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss, and copying multiplies losses as well as gains. NinjaTrader is a trademark of NinjaTrader Group, LLC, which doesn’t endorse Q-My-Trade.
Hypothetical results: screenshots and figures in this article come from simulated (Sim) accounts, so any results shown are hypothetical. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
